Another week has flown by and here we are. We have no particular plans for the weekend which is sometimes a good thing (like Martha would say) Maybe I will finally get to making those Pumpkin doggie cookies!
The leaves are at their peak here and with the windy brisk weather of today they are taking flight! Many neighborhood trees have suffered damage from the freak snow storm the other week, so their display is not as dazzling as it would be with missing branches and all!
Ozzie and I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks to all who have served this great country! Not to be forgotten on this day are the dogs that courageously served in the armed forces. They too have made the sacrifice and along side their human counterparts and have served bravely over the years. Ahem...On this Veteran's Day let us remember the service of our veterans and let us renew our national promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free!
